Option 1: Build the Thanksgiving Countdown Chain and read a prompt each day. Students will practice gratitude and be able to SEE how many days are left before Thanksgiving Break.

Each day a student's name was drawn and they got to pick a prompt (we didn't use them as chains) and then we would write what we were thankful for on one of the leaves until we had a full tree. I liked that there was an option to cut out the leaves (we did this one) instead of just writing on the leaves that was attached to the tree."
