Description

These bar graph file folders and worksheets for Autism and Special Education includes materials to make 17 file folders and 34 worksheets (level 1 with visuals and level 2) for anytime, seasons, and holidays.

Students first match the pictures to the “match it” page, then transfer the pictures over to the “graph it” page, then analyze the graph on the “Read it” worksheet to determine the amount of each picture, which has most, and which has least or the same.

The file folders are set up in a way that assembly requires little work. You can make the 16 file folders or make one file folder that can be interchangeable. The “Match it” page can be slipped into a page protector that is attached to the left side of the file folder with Velcro. Then you can just swap out the pages to change the graphs with little prep work!

Includes:

-7 Anytime folders – donuts, monsters, robots, food, pets, and clothing, school supplies

-4 seasons folders- Spring, summer, fall, winter

-6 Holiday folders- Halloween, Thanksgiving, Christmas, Valentine’s Day, St. Patrick’s Day, Easter

-17 level 1 worksheets (with visuals for multiple choice)

-17 level 2 worksheets (fill in the blank)

Directly compare two objects with a measurable attribute in common, to see which object has “more of”/“less of” the attribute, and describe the difference. For example, directly compare the heights of two children and describe one child as taller/shorter.
Classify objects into given categories; count the numbers of objects in each category and sort the categories by count.
Organize, represent, and interpret data with up to three categories; ask and answer questions about the total number of data points, how many in each category, and how many more or less are in one category than in another.
Draw a picture graph and a bar graph (with single-unit scale) to represent a data set with up to four categories. Solve simple put-together, take-apart, and compare problems using information presented in a bar graph.
