Grandparents Day Program and Activities

Grandparents/Grandfriends Day is the time for celebration to honor the important role they have in our children's lives. This year Grandparents Day is nationally recognized on September 8th. Most schools choose their own date for this event since it is so close to school starting. This program has songs, poems, and activities for a school wide event. You can also modify it to fit your school program. It is all planned, all you have to do is teach the words to the children. Our grandparents were very touched watching their grandchildren perform these cute songs and poems. The portraits the grandchildren made were also a big hit!
