Description

These 18 grammar proofreading quizzes in multiple-choice, self-grading format are designed like an English ACT or EOC test with an error in the context of a sentence. Each quick and powerful quiz covers 5-6 various skills including pronouns, subject/verb agreement, unity, possession, frequently confused words... and more.

It's a classroom success story for sure! Measure your students' growth and practice for standardized tests each week all semester long. I've even had my students tell me their ACT scores improved by as much as six points in English after doing these once-a-week quizzes in class. These quizzes are great as stand-alone exercises, but they also work well to complete the assessment portion of my Ten-Minute Grammar Program. Check out the bundle.

Included:

  • 18 multiple-choice quizzes with answers AND a skills list
  • editable Word format
  • self-grading Google form for each quiz
  • The sentences for each quiz are written to make a cohesive paragraph about interesting, true stories in American history and literature.

Classroom success stories from teachers who have tried my multiple-choice grammar quizzes:

♥ "Excellent source for quick and meaningful data collection."

♥ "Great resource to use for reviewing before a standardized test."

♥ "I am very happy with these quizzes. They help me to identify where my students' weak points are so that I can focus in on the areas in which they need assistance. I am very happy that they include the key; not all sellers include that!"

♥ "Thank you so much for not only making them editable, but also including the answer key and SKILLS LIST! Love it!! I think I might use them as a pre-test / post-test resource."
