What educators are saying
Students loved this hands-on learning. Anytime you have graham crackers and frosting, kids will be engaged! I used this in class but also sent a copy home for students to use that were out due to illness. Very engaging and easy to understand.
This was a wonderful resource to use for my 8th grade science class. They love food so incorporating food and learning makes it fun and interesting. I will use this resource next year for 8th grade again.
Description
Print out sets of these STEP-BY-STEP photo instructions to help your students successfully MODEL PLATE TECTONIC ACTIVITY using graham crackers, cake icing and fruit rollups. With these photo-enhanced instructions, you won't need to lead your students through the lab. Just print out a 4-page set for each lab group and hand out materials. Then walk the room and monitor your students' progress.
(I normally have my students take notes and draw labeled pictures with arrows in their science journals.)
