[Grade 4] CKLA Mid-Year Assessment Tracker (Unit 5)
- Zip
- Google Appsâ„¢
- Excel Spreadsheets
Description
Included here are Excel and Google Sheets workbooks for tracking the assessment results from Grade 4 CKLA, the mid-year assessments in Unit 5.
Featuring:
- FIVE Tracker tabs in which you enter Xs or total scores for the Unit 5 tests: Reading Comprehension, Grammar, Morphology, Word Reading in Isolation, and Fluency. (For this document, you enter only a total score for Word Reading in Assessment. If you want a super detailed tracker for that assessment, I've got that too!)
- A Whole-Class Summary page that brings all the raw data back into a nice printable table with color-coding, labels (poor, good, or excellent), and pie charts. You can sort and filter this data too! Directions are included.
- A Student Report one-pager, where you can select a student's name from the drop-down menu and all of his or her scores, with graphs and descriptions of the tests, will appear. Great for sharing with parents or specialists!
On each tracker, color-coding and counting take place automatically. I've even rearranged the results of the Reading Comprehension and Morphology tests so you can see them by type or by standard. Check out the preview file to see this in action!
You will receive a zip folder that contains a blank Excel file and PDFs of the assessment directions and student pages. I give lots of directions and guidance, too!
For Google Sheets: I've linked a blank tracker and a sample version in two places (it's tricky to combine both Excel and Sheets when posting here!) - one, in a PDF in the zip file (I think you'll have to unzip the folder to click the links) and two, as a tab in the Excel document. I put these links in two places to cover all the bases with your potential operating systems, software, etc. Please reach out if you have difficulties with this!
I love to hear from you, either about what worked or what suggestions you have, so please drop me a line via a review here, on my Q & A page, or by email (my email's in the first tab). Enjoy!
