Description
PURPOSE:
This activity provides your class with an automated Google Slides template for hosting your own Wordle class game. The game was built in Google Slides so that the guesses your students make can be validated as you enter them with green backgrounds for letters in the word and in the correct spot, yellow for letters in the word and in the wrong spot, and white for letters not in the word. Use this game on your projector as a whole group activity or assign the sheet to students for them to partner up and play their own games. Alternatively, make an entire routine out of the game; this activity works great as a daily warm up.

STORY:
Wordle has taken the world by storm. It seems like everyone these days is asking me if I solved the daily Wordle yet. After some time, I decided to bring the excitement of the game to my classroom as a whole group warm up. It brought about some great discourse and strategy as we worked together to solve the mystery words in as few guesses as possible.
