"God Save the King" Sign, Color Your Own Banner, UK, British Flag, England

This creative activity is a fun way to decorate your classroom or house for the King of England's Coronation, and celebrate King Charles III, the new head of the British monarchy.

This printable PDF comes with 10 pages for your kids to color - then you can cut out the banner pieces and make your own banner sign (or bunting, as they call it in the UK) saying, "GOD SAVE THE KING" or just showing the British flags and/or crown pieces. In addition to the individual flags for each letter: G, O, D, S, A, V, E, T, H, E, K, I, N, G (GOD SAVE THE KING), there are two decorative flags that you can use as end pieces or to divide the words up (British flag & crown). Your kids will love coloring these banner flags and making the banner sign together!

HOW TO MAKE YOUR OWN BANNER:

1. Color the banner flags

2. Cut them out

3. Attach the flags to a piece of string with clothespins (or use a hole puncher to make holes in the top corners and thread the string through the holes)
