Directions for the Card Game:
1.Put the cards in a pile face down.
2.Draw a card.
3.If the student reads the word or phrase correctly, they keep it. If they do not read the word or phrase correctly, then that cards goes back in the pile.
4.If a student draws a special card, then the student follows the directions of the card.
5.Whoever has the most cards at the end wins!
This resource is meant for second grade, but could be used with 1st or 3rd grade students depending on student levels.
