Description
In this Gingerbread Man sight word game, stuents will get to practice their sight word fluency! Students work in a small group for this activity and they will practice reading sight words and working cooperatively.
This sight word game can have many different uses in the classroom (small group, partners, early finishers, hallway management). I have used most of the first 100 Fry sight words.
How to Play:
Students pull cards one at a time. If they can read the sight word, they can keep their card. If the students pulls the "Run, Gingerbread Man, run" card, they must put all their cards back in the basket. The person with the most cards at the end of the game is the winner.
