Description

Perfect for an independent practice math center, these fun gingerbread man puzzles include four options: shape matching (2D & 3D), addition matching, teen numbers matching, and comparing numbers (0-5 and 5-10).

Puzzle Options (each set includes ten puzzles):

Shape Matching

Students match representations of shapes.

Shape Matching

Students sort pieces to match like shapes in different sizes and orientations.

Addition

Students match an addition expression (1-10) buttons and stripes on a gingerbread man.

Teen Numbers

Students match a numeral (11-20) to ten frames and an addition expression.

Comparing Numbers

Students assemble an image of a balance scale showing that a larger number of cookies is heavier than a smaller number of cookies.

A recording (or follow-up practice) sheet is included for each puzzle option.

Preparation and Storage:

Choose from the color or black and white options to print onto cardstock. Laminate the puzzle cards and labels. Cut the puzzles apart.

These puzzles are color-coded for easy sorting (the black and white versions have different frame styles). They are sized to fit in zip-top sandwich bags or 4” x 6” plastic photo boxes. Tape the laminated label to the outside of the container.
