Description

Gifted Education Toothpick Bridge Unit

This exciting project is "Common Core Aligned" for Math and ELA. This unit takes an intriguing look at bridges. Students become classroom engineers! They will be involved with a WebQuest, research, building a model, measurement of angles and finding the area of triangles. Students will also write a report to present to the class. This unit involves at least 4-6 class periods. Pictures, WebQuest, Compare and Contrast T-Chart, and Rubric are included in this unit.

My gifted and talented students thoroughly enjoyed this unit!
