Summer is almost here! Send your soon to be 3rd graders home with a packet to help them prepare for the 3rd grade curriculum. This 35 page packet includes all math topics taught at the 3rd grade level for those that use Common Core standards. These topics include:
Addition and Subtraction Within 1,000
Graphing and Data Collection
Multiplication
Division
Fractions
Measurement
Area and Perimeter
Geometry
You will also find materials to put together a summer reading journal. This includes a reading log page, as well as a graphic organizer to fill out for fiction and non-fiction stories.
A note to parents is also included to help families engage in summer learning together.
You decide if you want to reward your students when they return next year with their finished packets.
