Description
This is an overview of German Art History, plus two projects. This unit is perfect for IB German and/or AP German classes! Let the students take the lead on teaching each other art history! This is a fun end of the year project for upper-level German classes.

- Presentation with basic info about movements in German Art History
- Movements in Art History Project with Rubric
- Artist Biography Project with Rubric and Artwork Recreation
Sequencing:
- Show the presentation - use comprehensible input to discuss the artwork
- Assign the Movements in Art History Project & have students present
- Assign the Artist Biography Project
- Students recreate a work of art by their chosen artist and show it in the class art show!
