Exploring Lines, Area, and Perimeter
Geometry Wild West Town
The year is 1849 and the setting is the Wild West.
Your students' task is to create of an imaginary Western town. This activity will reinforce what they have learned about lines, area and perimeter while creating a Wild West Town. This looks great on bulletin boards!
Vocabulary in this activity: parallel, perpendicular, rectangles, length, width, area, perimeter, hexagon, equal sides, quadrilateral, trapezoid and intersecting lines.
