This lesson includes informational tests, guided reading questions, primary and secondary source analysis, map analysis, higher-order critical thinking writing prompts, political cartoon analysis, graphic organizers, opposing viewpoints, a multiple-choice assessment quiz and a homework worksheet. [2] Bosnian War & Genocide Lesson: This a CCLS, No Prep, lesson that teaches students about the causes and effects of the Bosnian War and Bosnian Genocide. This lesson includes informational texts, guided reading questions, activities, higher-order critical thinking questions/writing prompts and Extension Activities. [5] Rwandan Genocide Lesson: This is an engaging CCLS lesson that teaches students about the causes and effects of the Rwandan Genocide. This lesson includes informational texts, guided reading questions, critical thinking activities, a cartoon analysis worksheet and writing tasks with graphic organizers that help students understand the Rwandan Genocide from beginning (Colonialism) to end (the International Response).
