General Short Film Extension Packet

This is a great resource that can be done via teletherapy. You can share the packet with your students and they can watch a short film on their computer and complete the packet.

As High School providers we are always trying to find new and creative ways to maintain our students engagement within a session. We have recently started to show them Animated Short Films that do not have words. Surprisingly, they need to watch the clips multiple times before understanding the deeper meaning of the film.

We provide many mini-lessons based on the one short film. We have the students interpret a given quote and relate it back to the short film, we have them identify the literary elements found within the film, complete an Inferencing chart, work on perspective taking, and many more!
