Description
Do your students struggle with academic vocabulary? Do they not understand the verbs in your daily objectives and I can statements? Sometimes we assume our students have an understanding of the academic words we use on a daily basis, when they really could use a refresher. This product allows you to teach or review general academic vocabulary words that are used across subject areas in a fun, interactive way. I Have, Who Has is a interactive whole class activity, but it could also be used in small groups or individually in a station. Also great for test prep season to review vocabulary in question wording. Directions for how to play are included.
This product contains a total of 42 cards, including a beginning card, ending card, and two blank cards for you to add your own. Words covered are: infer, predict, compare, summarize, restate, reflect, label, justify, review, contrast, annotate, debate, classify, persuade, objective, assess, explain, discuss, interpret, demonstrate, analyze, describe, define, evidence, clarify, locate, evaluate, characteristic, cite, claim, deduce, credible, examine, emphasis, and plagiarism.
