What educators are saying

I used this with my environmental science class. I was really glad to have the GMOs listed so I didn't have to go hunt them down.

Description

In this project, students choose from a list of Genetically Modified Organisms (there are 24 on the list). Then, students research organism, answering some basic questions, and make a Google Slides presentation, or poster (you can choose).

Then, students write a short paper to answer some more general questions about GMOs.

This product is part of a Unit Bundle, which offers all you need to teach a Unit on DNA for students grades 7-12.

This product comes with a grading checklist, and short Powerpoint on GMOs, which contains links to videos.

Recently, I have created a Title Slide in Google Slides for each class that is doing this project, and have students edit the Slides presentation at the same time, so that they can all see one another's slides, as well as having the presenting process go smoothly.
