    TEACHERS ARE SAYING:

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ "My students like trying to get the picture to appear and I love the immediate feedback it gives the students. This helps me see quickly who needs extra assistance while allowing my kids who are ready to move on to keep going. I used this as a review as we move on today fraction by fraction multiplication and division. This was a great, quick way to see where were starting from." -Erin S.

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ "I will never stop buying these mystery pics. The kids are completely independent and engaged." -Jola B.

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ "These are great and the kids really enjoy doing them. I usually have them as an early finisher." -Jessica H.

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ "I used this resource during an NTI day when the weather was too bad for in-person school. I love that it was self-checking so my students knew immediately if they were correct or not. Thank you for this great resource!" -Jammie G.

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ "I used this as an early finisher activity. The kids enjoyed it and others went back to complete it on their own time. Very fun!" - Denise B.

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ "I had students that needed review with graphing with 4 quadrant graphs. They would just plot anywhere. With this resource they needed to work at it until it was correct! Great way to keep them working until they had the picture!" - Andrea F.

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ "My students enjoyed this activity. It was a fun way to practice plotting ordered pairs on the 4 quadrant system." -Jesse H.

    • No Prep / Paperless!
    • Self-Checking! Students get instant feedback!

How Does the Mystery Picture Reveal Work?

Interpret and compute quotients of fractions, and solve word problems involving division of fractions by fractions, e.g., by using visual fraction models and equations to represent the problem. For example, create a story context for (2/3) ÷ (3/4) and use a visual fraction model to show the quotient; use the relationship between multiplication and division to explain that (2/3) ÷ (3/4) = 8/9 because 3/4 of 8/9 is 2/3. (In general, (𝘢/𝘣) ÷ (𝘤/𝘥) = 𝘢𝘥/𝘣𝘤.) How much chocolate will each person get if 3 people share 1/2 lb of chocolate equally? How many 3/4-cup servings are in 2/3 of a cup of yogurt? How wide is a rectangular strip of land with length 3/4 mi and area 1/2 square mi?
Understand a rational number as a point on the number line. Extend number line diagrams and coordinate axes familiar from previous grades to represent points on the line and in the plane with negative number coordinates.
Find and position integers and other rational numbers on a horizontal or vertical number line diagram; find and position pairs of integers and other rational numbers on a coordinate plane.
Write, read, and evaluate expressions in which letters stand for numbers.
Solve real-world and mathematical problems by writing and solving equations of the form 𝘹 + 𝘱 = 𝘲 and 𝘱𝘹 = 𝘲 for cases in which 𝘱, 𝘲 and 𝘹 are all nonnegative rational numbers.
