Fun Persuasive Writing Project - Food Product Sales Pitch Presentation

This is a fun persuasive writing project aimed at middle school students. It involves several parts. First, students must develop an original food product. Then, students will write a persuasive letter convincing a food company to produce their product (a template is provided). Next, students will design a 2-D or 3-D model of their food product packaging. Lastly, students will create a two-minute oral sales pitch aimed at pitching their product to a food manufacturing company. Students use the food model as a visual aide for their sales pitch. Each step of this project has a detailed grading rubric! Students come up with the best ideas for this project! I've had everything from Chocolate Empanadas to Salsa-Flavored Cereal to Beef-On-The-Go.
