Description

Get students up and collaborating with this 6-task insurance escape room. Students will estimate life insurance needs, correctly identify key insurance terminology, calculate after-tax disability insurance benefits, sequence steps to take in a car accident, calculate health insurance plan costs, and answer multiple choice questions about insurance types. For this activity, high school students need to have a working knowledge of insurance terminology and types of insurance.

This is a great way to engage your students and get them interested in the content. Students will work with a partner or small group and race to complete the tasks. By solving the cases they will prove themselves as the "Master of Insurance".

Concepts covered: premium, rider, policy, deductible, beneficiary, claim, co-payment, co-insurance, life insurance, health insurance, homeowner's insurance, renter's insurance, long-term disability insurance, long-term care insurance, and steps to take in an automobile accident.
