Description
This Christmas Math Mystery Video Hook, is an optional tool to use when introducing your students to the Case of The Selfish Elft activity. A written story is also provided within the PDF download too. This video has been designed to add a bit of extra fun to the math mystery activity and get them motivated to use their math skills to solve the case.
There are five math clue worksheets in each grade edition. The clues are interchangeable between the 2nd Grade - 7th Grade editions as long as the clue number is the same.
Students must use their math skills to unlock clues. Then use their powers of deduction to narrow down a suspect list of elves. The last elf remaining, is the Selfish Elf!
