Fruit of the Spirit Award Certificates (Editable)

Are you teaching lessons about the fruit of the Spirit to your kids? These editable and printable award certificates are just right for Christian schools, Sunday schools, and home schools. Each award lists a fruit of the Spirit, a Bible verse about that fruit/characteristic of God, and lines for writing a student name, teacher/principal signature, and date. The certificates are EDITABLE, so this information may also be typed before printing. Note: the only editing you are able to do is add a text box to type a student name and date.

These award certificates are part of a set of other Fruit of the Spirit products in my store. The goal of this series of products is to help students understand that the Holy Spirit grows the characteristics of God in believers as they come to know him more. Other products include:

1. The Fruit of the Spirit Devotions: This set of ten devotions engages students with scripture to show how God displays the characteristics of love, joy, peace, patience… and how believers are enabled by the Holy Spirit to grow in those characteristics. The devotions include an introduction devotion and one devotion for each fruit.

2. The Fruit of the Spirit Posters: This set of nine posters contains Bible verses that go along with each fruit of the Spirit/characteristic of God. Posters in two sizes are included: 8.5x11 and 11x17. (Each poster verse is included in the corresponding devotion and award certificate products purchased separately).

Suggestions - Use the set of ten devotions (an introduction devotion and a devotion for each of the nine fruit of the spirit) in a classroom or chapel setting. The devotions are intended to be led by a teacher and discussed with a class. Focus on each fruit for a month, or use them all in a two or three week unit. While reading, pause to have students think about, answer, or discuss questions as they arise in the devotion paragraphs. Have students find all scripture references from the devotions in their Bibles, or use the powerpoint of Bible verses projected on a screen to have students read along with the verses as you encounter them with each devotion. Give a fruit of the spirit award certificate to students who consistently display one of the characteristics of God. Display the posters in the classroom, hallway, or office.
