Description

These fruit and vegetable posters provide a simple and visual tool for teaching the names of common fruits and vegetables. They can be used as a whole class visual display and referred to when talking, writing or learning about fruits and vegetables, or printed smaller to create an individual student vocabulary book.

This resource includes:

- 2 x Fruit poster (1 x commonly classified, 1 x botanically classified)

- 2 x Vegetables poster (1 x commonly classified, 1 x botanically classified)

Fruits and vegetables included in this resource are: apple, apricot, asparagus, avocado, banana, beans, beetroot, blueberry, broccoli, brussel sprout, cabbage, capsicum/pepper, carrot, cauliflower, celery, cherry, coconut, corn, cucumber, eggplant/aubergine, fig, garlic, grapefruit, grapes, honeydew melon, kiwifruit, leek, lemon, lettuce, lime, lychee, mandarin/clementine, mango, mushroom, nectarine, onion, orange, papaya, passionfruit, pea, pear, pineapple, plum, pomegranate, potato, pumpkin/squash, radish, raspberry, red onion, rock melon/cantaloupe, shallot, spinach, strawberry, sweet potato, tomato, zucchini/courgette.

Note: Due to differences around the world, some items are listed with several names (e.g. mandarin/clementine).
