Fruit and Colors Bundle in Brazilian Portuguese

The objective of this bundle is to teach children how to use colors to describe fruits. Students will start off learning fruit vocabulary through the Fruit Matching Activity. The fruit matching activity comes with sentence frames in Brazilian Portuguese for homeschool families who are learning Portuguese together. Visual aids are included to put up in the classroom or at home. These visual aids include Fruit Posters and Form Cards that show how to use the fruit vocabulary words in singular/plural/masculine/feminine form. The I Spy Activity provides students practice using their new vocabulary words in sentences (sentence frames also included).

The next set of resources included in this bundle are the color activities. To learn the color vocabulary words students will participate in the Color Matching Activity. This bundle comes with Color Pencils Visual Aids to put up in the classroom or at home. The color matching activity provides students practice using their new color vocabulary words in sentences.

The next section uses both fruits and colors together. Included are fruit printouts, with the colors and name of the fruit written on them as you would use them in a sentence. This section provides a more robust set of sentence frames that cover a variety of grammar rules (see the list of grammar rules below). This pretend play section is meant to be used along with a pretend/play kitchen. My son and I like to take turns making food for his 2 stuffed animals, using the fruit printouts. The sentence frames allows you to carry out this play activity almost entirely in Brazilian Portuguese.
