Description
Are your students learning how to be a dino-mite friend? This darling dinosaur craftivity and bulletin board kit is the perfect way to celebrate friendship in your classroom. Let your class brainstorm and write about how to be a good friend with this fun writing activity. It would make a fantastic bulletin board for back-to-school to promote kindness at the beginning of the year, and since it has an adorable heart theme it also could make an adorable display for February (Friendship is important all year long!) Palentine's Day is such a fun theme for the elementary school classroom in February (to celebrate friendship with all of their pals)!
You can pair this activity with your favorite friendship themed dinosaur story. My favorite is "We Don't Eat Our Classmates" by: Ryan T. Higgins. After reading the book, have a little mini-lesson and discussion about how to be a good friend.
Then your students can write about how to be a dino-mite friend and make their own writing craftivity to display. The writing prompts come with 4 different line styles, so you can pick the one that best suits the needs of your students.
This set comes with printable bulletin board letters and accessories for you to cut out and add to your display. The bulletin board letters say: "We are Dino-mite Friends."
Differentiated writing line options include:
-Regular sized with a dotted mid-line
-Wide writing lines with a dotted mid-line
-Regular lines WITHOUT a dotted mid-line
-Large area to draw a picture about the prompt with 2 wide lines with a dotted mid-line for beginning writers.
