Frida Kahlo Craft - Cinco de Mayo - Womens History Month - Hispanic Heritage

A super fun and easy Frida Kahlo Craft - learn how to make a Frida Kahlo Mini Pinata from Cardbaord Tubes. A great Cinco de Mayo activity or as part of Women's History Month or Hispanic Heritage Month Activities.

Use cardboard tubes and tissue paper to make these wonderful Frida Kahlo mini pinatas or decorations. Students are encourage to get drawing and explore Frida Kahlo’s basic facial features and to then dress her up in tissue paper dress and hair dos.

Students will learn how to make a simple pinata with a cardboard tube, as well as how to make super easy tissue paper flowers. As this craft only uses tissue paper and cardboard tubes, this is also a very environmentally friendly crafts. The pinatas can be filled with treats or DIY confetti or simply be used as decorations.
