Help your class learn all about the famous Mexican artist Frida Kahlo with this printable activity pack. You can use it as a complete workbook or pick and choose the printable activities.
This 24 page activity pack includes:
• colouring pages inspired by her famous self-portaits
• a biography and comprehension quiz
• art activities (for larger artworks beyond the workbook)
• a Frida paper doll
• drawing activities
• a collage project with Frida’s floral hairdos
• Frida selfie props that you can use to recreate Frida’s artworks in a photo project
• a detailed guide to drawing faces so your kids can create self-portaits just like Frida.
It is a fun introduction to the artist. I have recreated many of her famous artworks in an accurate but kid-friendy way, so they are a great teaching tool.
