Description

This French spring digital BINGO game pour le printemps will have your second language learners develop their oral proficiency while reviewing spring vocabulary words. BINGO boards with moveable markers were designed for distance/virtual learning but can also be used for in-person literacy centers!

How to use:

Simply digitally pass out the boards using Google Classroom™ or Microsoft TEAMS™. BINGO boards are located in one slideshow and are numbered (1-30). Moveable pieces to cover images are included with every BINGO board. Calling cards can be printed and shown to students using your camera. If you have a projector connected to your computer, you can easily display several calling cards at once. This digital vocabulary BINGO is great to play with the whole class. The GRID VIEW option (available in both Google Slides™ and Microsoft PowerPoint™) will allow you to see every BINGO board in real time! Older students can play in small groups using breakout rooms.

How to Use with Google Classroom:

You can create an ASSIGNMENT in Google Classroom™ and add the slideshow with the BINGO boards (once you have saved a copy of the file to your DRIVE).

You will then have 2 choices:

a) Students all view and can edit the same single file (30 bingo boards, all numbered)

b) Each individual student receives their own copy (all 30 boards)

Personally, I prefer option A. I assign a board to each student (Kai has board #1, Ashley has board #2, etc.). You will need to remind your students to only play on their board. Option A also allows you to see every BINGO board in real time if you use the grid view option. You can check winning boards that way! Calling cards can be printed and shown to students using your camera. If you have a projector connected to your computer, you can easily display several calling cards at once.

How to Use with Microsoft Teams:

You can upload the slideshow with the BINGO boards in your class meeting chat. BINGO boards are located in one slideshow and are numbered (1-30). So everyone is playing using the same slideshow. Moveable pieces to cover images are included with every BINGO board. So every student has their own board (example: Ashley has board #3) and can move their own moveable pieces. I always remind students to play on their own board and also tell them that I can see all the boards using the grid view option. Calling cards can be printed and shown to students using your camera. If you have a projector connected to your computer, you can easily display several calling cards at once.

Included:

  • 30 French spring BINGO boards with 25 moveable markers
  • 24 calling cards
  • Microsoft PowerPoint™ version
  • Google Slides™ version
