This huge 45 page Core French and French as a Second Language (FSL) Comment ça va? How are you? Feelings and Emotions Unit is all you need to teach the common greeting 'Comment ca va?' in an engaging way to middle school students. Vocabulary, posters, foldables, project, speaking games and word work practice sheets are all included. This unit has been classroom tested and approved. Simply print and teach.

-vocabulary sheet including a list of 16 common answers to the daily question 'Comment ça va?'

-vocabulary posters or visuals to use with the speaking games as well as to have up in the classroom. Mini posters also included! Visuals are great for second language learners!

-2 templates for foldables that can be used in interactive notebooks to engage students with the vocabulary being practiced

-student instructions on how to create the foldable as well as student examples

-word work including: 'Comment ça va?' crossword where students have the opportunity to practice each phrase, 'Dessinez!' where students draw the picture to correspond to the sentence, 'Ecrire!' where students write the sentence to correspond to the picture, Unscramble the phrases to find the correct feeling

-Answer keys for the word work

SIMON DIT: instructions on how to play this classic game with a French twist

-DESSINEZ VITE: Pictionary game but used with the 'Comment ça va?' phrases

-Mini project outline where students have a chance to be creative and create their own designs to remember each feeling
