Description

This free PDF contains 45 essay prompts! There are 15 well laid out prompts for argumentative, informative and persuasive. Each format also includes a rubric for easy grading! These prompts are versatile and can be used to fill a variety of needs! They make wonderful beginning of the year diagnostics to discover where your students’ writing abilities are, and are great to use as a summative assessment after going over a specific writing format. Additionally, they can be used for an independent writing project that allows for students to research their topic.

Lastly, they are also excellent to have on file for those days that require quick emergency sub plans!
