Description

This activity is a review for students to practice identifying fractions on a number line with halves, thirds, fourths, sixths, and eighths. Your students will use streets and houses to create the number lines, and then your students will place the fractions on the number line in the right place!

This Product In Use:

✓ Students layout the number line in the form of a street with houses on it.

✓ The houses represent the partitions.

✓ Then, they have to match the student card with a fraction to the appropriate house (partition).

✓ This activity also provides the opportunity for students to see equivalent fractions when the number lines are stacked.

✓ This activity could be used as a whole group activity, small group activity, math center, in partners, individually, or for early finishers.
