Description
Are you looking for a resource that teaches your students how to use number lines with fractions and then gives them practice with that important skill? This resource includes a short video that teaches/reviews the concept and then 2 Google Forms for practice! It's perfect for review, remediation or extension!
This resource includes two Google Forms. The first Google Form begins with a short video to demonstrate how to represent a fraction on a number line. The video is embedded in the Google Form, so students do not go to another website, or you can get the video on You Tube and embed it in Edpuzzle or a similar app. The content focuses on a 3rd grade standard, and is a nice review for 4th graders. Mixed Numbers and Fractions Greater than One
Then, the student has a chance to put their new knowledge to work with 7 practice problems in the first Google Form and 10 questions in the second Form! The questions are modeled on SBAC released items and include word problems, multiple choice and fill in the blank questions. The Google Forms will auto-grade everything so that the students get immediate feedback. And there are great reports for you!
Because there are two Google Forms, it is a great resource to use as an exit ticket, pre-assessment, formative assessment or summative assessment on this standard.
This makes a great lesson for:
1. Flipped classrooms
2. Reteaching/Intervention
3. Review
4. Distance Learning
5. Sub plans
Best of all, it's auto-graded, so you just have to download the results! You can also see student by student responses.
Teachers like you are saying...
