Description

Fractions Gone Fishin' Game

This is a super fun PowerPoint game for students to practice adding, subtracting, multiplying, and dividing fractions. Students can either aim for the fish with a Koosh Ball (if playing with a Smart Board), or come up to the computer to select a fish. The fish really do swim around the screen, so it's a lot of fun and the kids love it. The types of problems are as follows:

Red Fish: Adding Fractions

Yellow Fish: Subtracting Fractions

Green Fish: Multiplying Fractions

Blue Fish: Dividing Fractions

There are 44 total problems, with 11 of each kind. Once a problem is selected, students write it down on their recording sheet. There is a mixed of improper and mixed fractions. All answers given as mixed fractions. Positive fractions only. Once you click "Answer", they can check their answer.
