Description

THIS IS THE COMPLETE VERSION WITH ALL FOUR FRACTION WORKSHEET GENERATORS.

NO SPREADSHEET EXPERIENCE NECESSARY!

What is it?
Quite simply, the "Fraction Worksheet Generator" is an Excel spreadsheet file that can create an infinite number of unique, randomly generated fraction worksheets and worksheet keys. The user has control over certain aspects of the worksheet so that worksheets can be customized for the skill levels of their students.
The spreadsheet file consists of four "Sheets."
Sheet 1 will create worksheets and keys covering addition and subtraction of simple fractions. You can download this file for free to try it first! The file is called AddSubFractionWorksheets.
Sheet 2 will create worksheets and keys covering addition and subtraction of mixed numbers.
Sheet 3 will create worksheets and keys covering multiplication and division of fractions.
Sheet 4 will create worksheets and keys covering multiplication and division of mixed numbers.
Using settings on each sheet the teacher has control over the difficulty level of each sheet and control over specific skills you want your students to practice.
Some Examples:
When adding or subtracting fractions, you can determine whether one fraction of each pair needs to be renamed and by what factor or whether both fractions need to be renamed.
When adding or subtracting mixed numbers, you can determine whether none, some, or all of the problems include renaming the sum (carrying) or renaming the subtrahend (borrowing).
When multiplying or diving fractions or mixed numbers, you can determine whether there are opportunities for the student to use cross canceling on every problem, or only occasionally.
Other options include setting the maximum size of any denominator or whole number, and setting the maximum size of the factor a student must use to rename a fraction.
