Description

This is a set of 16 fraction number line images that feature number lines divided between 0 and 1 to show halves, thirds, fourths (quarters), fifths, sixths, sevenths, eighths, ninths, tenths, elevenths, twelfths, thirteenths, fourteenths, fifteenths and sixteenths. These can be used to create fractions on number lines in your resources such as worksheets, flashcards, posters, anchor charts, bulletin boards and many more. The transparent background makes them easy to drag and drop into your project’s layout.

Represent a fraction 1/𝘣 on a number line diagram by defining the interval from 0 to 1 as the whole and partitioning it into 𝘣 equal parts. Recognize that each part has size 1/𝘣 and that the endpoint of the part based at 0 locates the number 1/𝘣 on the number line.
