Description

You will download an introduction to fractions craft project for your students to practice fractions on a number line, fraction bars or strips, and coloring picture models. Your 2nd grade, 3rd grade, and special education math students will practice and review fractions from one whole to twelfths.

This intro to fractions interactive notebook aligns with Grade 3 Common Core math standards and will supplement your curriculum as an extra practice activity or intervention work.

This fraction craft, which may also be used in your students' fractions interactive notebook will work well for your early finishers, morning work, bell ringers, review homework, station or center activities, formative assessments, independent work packet, emergency sub plans, and as extra practice for your ESL and special education students.

Your 3rd grade students will color and cut and paste flaps for each fraction (one whole, halves, thirds, fourths, fifths, sixths, sevenths, eighths, ninths, tenths, elevenths and twelfths). Student may then match the given images under each flap, or they may draw their own fractions bars, number lines and picture models. Please see the preview. Project photos are included.
