Fraction Spin
Teach students how to use a paper clip and a pencil to make a spinner. Students will spin the spinner and color the corresponding fraction on the recording sheet. After dividing all fractions, students will count and tally the fractions spun.
Spin & Cover Fractions
Use a paper clip and pencil to use the spinner on the corner of the page. Cover a fraction that was spun with counters/shapes.
Fraction Sort
Print on cardstock, laminate, & cut apart the fraction cards. Students will sort the fractions onto the corresponding mat: Whole, Half, Fourths.
