Description
This resource outlines informal and formal language for students. Students will learn the impact of an author's style in writing and how style should be adapted to fit an appropriate setting and/or audience.
This packet includes: notes for students, the rules of using formal language, and two practice worksheets with answer keys. You will also receive an editable copy in case you would like to make modifications.
Students will practice recognizing informal and formal writing as well as how to rewrite informal sentences.
