These instructions can be used for any lab or inquiry-based project. It is important now more than ever that we train students in scientific literacy. When students are introduced to journal-style scientific writing, they will be able to access primary scientific literature with more familiarity and understanding. This guide was created using a combination of APA style and some of the most common formatting styles in popular scientific journals.
