Description
In this highly engaging poetry mini-unit, students will explore the theme of forgiveness. They will work through works by Tupac to Brandi Carlile that will encourage students to think through what types of forgiveness can be found in life and how they personally process forgiveness. The unit will wrap with a personal final poem on a journey of their own forgiveness.
I teach this mini-unit alongside my Holocaust Literature unit. My struggling writers take no hesitation with this mini-unit. They're ALL IN!
