This unit is intended to introduce students to tier 3, domain-specific vocabulary words, give opportunities to practice identifying and using them, as well as assess word meaning. Students can also dig deeper into the meaning of each word when completing the “Thinking Deeper” task cards.
I’ve included options of varying levels for some of the student pages. These are meant to be helpful when differentiating instruction.
