Description
Review force and motion while having some holiday fun with this Christmas review game. Students will answer 30 multiple choice questions about forces and Newton's laws of motion. The cheat sheet is included to help struggling learners. Use the student response sheet as a review sheet! In addition, a printable activity will have students match vocabulary terms and definitions related to balanced and unbalanced forces and different types of motion.

How to use this activity in your classroom:
Christmas Light Hunt Review Game: Students can play the game independently or in pairs to demonstrate their knowledge of balanced and unbalanced forces, motion, Newton's laws, and speed. This game is self-correcting so that students will walk away with an understanding of these concepts.
Student response sheet: Students can record their answers on the sheet. Since the game is self-correcting, the sheet can be used as a review sheet. The response sheet prevents students from cheating or racing through the game too quickly. Using the sheet and game together would be perfect for sub plans!
Student cheat sheet: Help struggling learners become more successful by allowing them to use the cheat sheet while they are playing the game. The cheat sheet provides terms, definitions, and some examples of force and motion.
Printable worksheets: The baking-themed worksheets will provide students with additional review. The perfect companion to the digital activity as this will have students cut and paste to match terms and definitions. Use these worksheets:
