In this collaborative foods class group project students will work with their kitchen groups to create a “food truck” and sell a food product. They will compete with the other groups to see who can make the largest profit. Along the way students will learn about entrepreneurship, business, marketing, and customer service. They will need to use creativity, collaboration, and communication skills. Students will come up with a company name and logo. They will decide on a food product to sell and decide how they will display and market their product to get customers to buy it. I use this project with my 8th graders but I think it would be great for 7th+.
I have included in the zip file all the things you will need to successfully have your students complete this project.
