This "Task Box Filler" is suitable for the classroom or distance learning in the home. Expiration dates are updated to include years past, current, and future. Yearly updates are included with this task card set.

WHAT'S INCLUDED WITH THIS SET?

There are 30 task cards that require the student to look for the type of food that is stored in the can, as well as read or match the expiration date. It's perfect for high school students and young adults.

IS THIS TASK CARD SET EASY TO SET UP?

Yes, it sure is! Just print on white card stock paper for durability and laminate. Use a thin dry erase marker to bubble in responses. Easy to erase, too!

HOW DO I STORE THIS TASK CARD SET?

I use a clear shoe box bin for this, and actually ALL of my "Task Box Filler" sets. The bins store easily in your classroom cubbies, shelves, or even stack on top of a table or shelf.

DOES THE TASK CARD SET COME WITH SUGGESTED IEP GOALS?

Yes! Here they are:

(1.) Given a picture of a perishable canned food item, STUDENT will read the expiration date to determine if the food has expired/not expired to decide if it is safe to eat, with 80% accuracy, in 4 out of 5 opportunities, by MONTH, YEAR.

(2.) Given a picture of a perishable canned food item, STUDENT will look at the two picture choices to determine what food item is in the can, with 80% accuracy, in 4 out of 5 opportunities, by MONTH, YEAR.

(3.) Given a picture of a perishable canned food item which contains a clear expiration date, use buy, or do not use after date, STUDENT will determine if the food is safe to eat, or if it should be discarded, with 80% accuracy, in 4 out of 5 opportunities, by MONTH, YEAR.
