Food Network Stars

Students create their own restaurant, menu and signature item to serve for the judges. In groups, students research regions of the US, choose a food theme, design a menu and create their restaurant. During the event, students bring in their signature dish and serve samples to the celebrity judges. Students learn about financing, marketing, chemistry, and public speaking. This event is a lot of work but my students have learned so much and have grown into great little chefs who now LOVE to cook and create new recipes!
