Food and Drink:

Ideal for learners of German, this ‘food and drink’ activity and written task pack contains a 6-page workbook, a 9-slide presentation, picture and words cue cards, a bi-lingual vocabulary list as well as a double-sided sheet on suggestions for use and differentiation.

The workbook features tasks to practice vocabulary, gently guiding the learner from simple words to sentences and finally longer paragraphs to consolidate what they have learnt. There is a creative task to ‘make’ and describe your own pizza in German at the end.

The presentation slides feature most of the tasks from the work book.

My House:

Ideal for learners of German, this ‘wohnen’ activity and written task pack contains a 5-page workbook, a 15-slide presentation, picture and words cue cards, a bi-lingual vocabulary list as well as a double-sided sheet on suggestions for use and differentiation.

The workbook features tasks to practice vocabulary, gently guiding learners from simple words to sentences and finally to longer paragraphs to consolidate what they have learnt. There is a crossword with German clues to solve at the end.

The presentation slides feature all pictures and some tasks from the work book as well as some additional tasks.

Hobbies / Leisure:

Ideal for learners of German, this hobbies activity and written task pack contains a 10-page workbook, a 28-slide presentation, picture and words cue cards as well as 2 pages with suggestions for use and differentiation.

The workbook furthers various skills, e.g. describing pictures whilst gently guiding the learner from simple words to sentences and increasingly long paragraphs. Some tasks focus on grammar, i.e. the formation of the German past tense and related word order adjustments.

One set of cue cards features the pictures from the work book and the other set contains the words. These cue cards can be used for matching activities, games such as snap and pairs and many more.

The presentation slides are kept simple and merely feature a picture per slide, with all pictures from the work book included here too.
