How well are your students able to give and follow instructions? Use this activity to find out. It is great for Back to School!
It is easily adaptable to many grade levels. Encourage older students to use appropriate geometry terms as they describe the figures. Younger students may use common everyday language. The goal of the activity is to learn to give and follow clear, precise directions. I’ve included 20 diagram cards to allow you to tailor the activity or use it multiple times throughout the year.
Materials: Diagram cards (you decide on the number of sets based on how you choose to execute the activity), paper and pencils for each student.
