Description
Flowers | Lacing Cards:
Included: 8 two-sided lacing cards in color (8 pages), 8 two-sided lacing cards in black and white; to be colored (8 pages), and 8 two-sided lacing cards in solid black.
Print on cardstock or regular paper, color in images if using the coloring cards, and cut out the cards.
Apply a small amount of glue only to the center of one card’s backside (this is just to keep the cards from moving during lamination; you don’t want the glue to be anywhere near the black dots because it will make it difficult to properly punch out the dots).
Make sure the holes are lined up before attaching both sides together (I do this by punching out the same black dot on each side and using that hole as a guide to line them up).
Once your cards are attached, laminate them and cut them out again, but be sure to leave about a half an inch around the cards so they don’t separate from the lamination.
Use a hole punch to punch out all the black dots.
Use a shoelace or some yard to lace through the holes. If you use yarn, it is helpful to wrap some tape around each end to make it similar to a shoelace and easier to lace through the holes.
